Hunt Group

Cisco Hunt groups ensure that incoming calls to a certain number are distributed to a group of phone lines allocated to a predefined group.

Easy log-on / -off Hunt Groups

Thanks to the NTWphone Hunt Group solution, the centrally administrated hunt groups can be displayed on the user’s IP phone, softphone or mobile. Only the hunt groups assigned to the respective user are displayed and may be operated.

In the NTW Jabber Selfcare Portal, each user can log on to and off from an individual group or all hunt groups at once, that are assigned to him. The log off from a single hunt group is only possible across all devices (IP phone, softphone, mobile).

Each hunt group user can individually choose on which devices they want to use the hunt group service. It may be used on all, or only selected devices.

The NTW Selfcare Portal in Jabber is available on PC and mobile, but only inside the company network.

Presence Based Hunt Group-Activity

Given an appropriate central configuration, hunt group members may be automatically logged on to or off from individual groups depending on their presence state. Incoming calls will then only be forwarded to active group members. If a hunt group member is unavailable or away they will not be considered by the hunt group and are not being forwarded any calls.
